Open to all persons interested in gardening. (brief PHGSC history)

Each meeting includes an informal garden discussion in a question and answer format as well as announcements of community garden interest. Some Club business is included in the opening announcement as well but is kept to a minimum. Each meeting has a featured speaker sharing information on a topic of interest. Other activities of interest are also scheduled – some classes; a fund raising annual Plant Sale that supports several community projects annually, and scheduled tours to gardens of interest. Recent speakers and topics at our evening meeings have included::

We also offer a monthly newsletter, garden magazine/catalogue exchange, informal seed/plant/produce sharing, tomato tasting, several potlucks, and homemade refreshments. New this year is the probability of a discount card for a local major nursery.

If you like gardening, want to learn more, and meet friendly fellow gardeners (varying from “newbies” to “old timers”), please be our guest at a meeting and consider becoming a member. Yearly membership dues are $15 per person, or $25 for two people at the same address. The 11 month newsletter is distributed by web and email. If you wish USPS delivery there is an additional $10/yr fee for printing and mailing.
